Crystal Palace
- Wilfried Zaha is sidelined for up to four weeks with a knee injury, which is a huge blow for Frank de Boer so early in the season.
- Yohan Cabaye and James McArthur stepped up their returns to first-team action with the U23s at the start of the week and both will hope to come into contention on Saturday.
- It remains to be seen whether De Boer will stick with the same formation that ended in a devastating 3-0 defeat at home to Huddersfield last weekend.
Liverpool
- Neither Daniel Sturridge nor Philippe Coutinho travelled to Germany for the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Hoffenheim on Tuesday night, but Sturridge is available for team selection this weekend. Coutinho remains sidelined.
- Jurgen Klopp may opt against making any changes for the third game in a row, although the likes of Andrew Robertson, James Milner, Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke will be pushing for first team places.
Probable XI :
Crystal Palace : Hennessey, Fosu, Dann, Riedewald, Aanholt, Puncheon, Milivojevic, Ward, Cabaye, L Cheek, Benteke.
Liverpool : Mignolet, Moreno, Matip, Lovren, Arnold, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Can, Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Prediction
- Liverpool will have their tails up after earning an impressive 2-1 win away to Hoffenheim in midweek and now they will be chomping at the bit to get their first league win under their belt. Palace have won three of the last four meetings between the sides at Anfield, so Jurgen Klopp's men will need to be at it this weekend.
- Frank de Boer has already taken a huge blow at the start of his managerial tenure at Palace after losing 3-0 at home to newly promoted Huddersfield last weekend. Now they travel to Liverpool and will be without their best player, Wilfried Zaha. It could get messy again for the Eagles this weekend, although they should be confident of exploiting Liverpool's weakness at defending set-pieces with Christian Benteke in the team.
