Overview
Western Australia will take on Tasmania in the 10th match of the JLT ODI Cup tomorrow at the WACA in Perth. On the weather front, there could be some chance of rain.
As far as the team combination goes, Western Australia will be without the services of their two main seamers- Behrendroff and Tye. Both have been selected to play India in the T20s. It will be interesting to see who steps up for the hosts with the ball.
Also, remains to be seen if Mitchell Marsh will chip in with the ball at all. Meanwhile, the Tasmanian bowling too has looked anything but formidable and we expect to see some changes there as well.
On the wicket front, we could get another cracker of a game if both teams bat as per their reputation. That said, the WA batting- top order looks very dangerous.
Probable 11
WA- S Marsh, Klinger, Wells/Cartwright, M Marsh, Turner, Bancroft, Short, Richardson, Moody, Kelly, Mackin
TAS- Bailey, Dunk, Silk, Mcdermott, Doolan, Wakim, Milenko, Fekete, Boyce, Meredith, Faulkner/Doran
Players who cannot be ignored
Dunk- He will open the innings and should come out all guns blazing. Drop him and you could pay a price.
Bailey- Always a reliable candidate down the order. He might not be very aggressive but gets the job done with sensible batting.
