Overview

After more than a month of high-octane action, the 2017 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has reached its final stage. St Kitts Patriots (SKN) and Trinibago Knight Riders (TKR) will be locking horns for the title at the Brian Lara cricket stadium in Trinidad.
In the first qualifier, the Patriots beat the Knight Riders comfortably to reach the finals. However, the men in red hit back yesterday after beating Guyana Amazon Warriors, and will be keen on avenging their defeat on Saturday.
Dan Christian has joined the Knight Riders and like we witnessed in the qualifiers yesterday, he will play the finals too. As far as St Kitts go, there will always be the temptation to bring in Samuel Badree. That said, they could very well go with their winning combination.

Probable 11
TKR- Sunil Narine, Colin Munro, William Perkins/Robert Frylinks, Darren Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Dwayne Bravo, Daniel Christian, Yasir Shah, Javon Searles, Kevon Cooper, Ronsford Beaton.
SKN- Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Mohammad Hafeez, Jonathan Carter, Brandon King, Carlos Brathwaite, Mohammad Nabi, Devon Thomas, Ben Hilfenhaus, Sheldon Cottrell, Tabraiz Shamsi.

Players who cannot be ignored

Narine- He might have flopped in the last two games, but overall he has had a great tournament and we will continue to persist with him.

Dark Horses

Chris Gayle & Evin Lewis- The two have put three century stands so far in the tournament. The two have scored six fifties between themselves in this tournament. Their performance will be the key for SNP success in the final against Trinbago Knight Riders.

Munro- as opener and he responded with a match-winning knock of 57*. He will again hold the key in the final. Darren Bravo chipped in with a cameo of 43.
