Prediction

Crystal Palace begin life udner Roy Hodgson after the Eagles confirmed his appointment following Frank de Boer's sacking at the beginning of the week. The first port of call will be to ensure Palace hit the back of the net, with the Eagles the only team yet to score a Premier League goal this season.

Saints haven't fared much better having failed to score in three of four league games under Mauricio Pellegrino. All three of their goals came in a 3-2 win over West Ham, while their record at Selhurst Park is hardly ideal having lost their last two visits to the capital.

Palace may net their first goal of the campaign on Saturday, but could be held to a point by Saints.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Southampton
