Overview

England will take on the West Indies in the only T20I at the River side ground in Chester-Le-Street tomorrow. This game will be played under lights. After an exciting Test series, both teams will lock horns in what promises to be a cracking game before the series eventually moves into the 50-over format.

England have given their marquee names, Ben Stokes & Moeen Ali, a well-deserved rest and have introduced a few new faces into their set up. Meanwhile, the Windies will be thrilled to have the services of veteran T20 cricketers and World Champions -- Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels into their scheme of things.

Eoin Morgan will be leading the hosts, while the tourists will be led by Carlos Brathwaite.

There have been only two T20 internationals played at this venue. The first game was between England and South Africa in 2002 where just about 240 runs were made by both teams. In the second outing (2013), when the hosts took on the Aussies, in excess of 350 runs were piled on.
